About
A Dallas-based graphic design office built around fun, laughter, and the simple gesture of a card.
The Story
The past 8 years have been a slow, yet natural, progression — from a career as an in-house graphic designer, to freelance business owner, to illustrator and greeting card designer.
I laid the ground work to learn my craft, broaden my skills, and shape my business into one geared around fun, laughter, and relationships. While I am not much of a story-teller, I do love making people laugh, and I discovered how much I love doing that through the simple gesture of a card. Greeting cards can be so much more than an obligation tucked inside an envelope.
I am drawn to fun colors, weird animals, hand-lettering, and lithograph textures. My aim is to design cards that help people connect in those small "you get me" moments.
The creative process behind each project begins with a deep appreciation for contrast and structure. Much like a well-composed poster, every design decision is rooted in bold typography, stark color fields, and deliberate spacing that mirrors the precision of print layouts translated to screen. Whether crafting a visual identity for a growing business or illustrating a greeting card meant to spark laughter, the approach remains the same: strip away the unnecessary and let the message hit with clarity. There is a particular joy found in pairing unexpected color accents with rigid grid systems, creating work that feels both playful and intentional, where every element earns its place on the page.
Greeting cards have become an unexpectedly powerful medium for connection in an increasingly digital world. There is something special about a tangible piece of mail that arrives with a handwritten note inside, carrying a joke or a sentiment that can brighten someone's entire day. The designs lean into quirky observations, awkward moments, and the kind of humor that makes people feel seen rather than embarrassed. From tiny celebrations to major life milestones, each card aims to capture a genuine human moment. The goal is simple: make someone laugh, make them feel understood, and remind them that a small gesture can carry a lot of heart.
